5280 Challenge Games

The 5280 Challenge Games is held annually at Cherry Creek high school, Greenwood Village in Denver. Several members of the Colorado Masters Track and Field Club volunteer as well as compete at these Games. Saturday meet in May or June, date TBD, for open, masters and disabled athletes. Events
During the masters meet, the following events are contended:

Track Events 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 3000m race walk, 80m/100m hurdles, 300m/400m hurdles, 4x100m relay
Field Events shot put, discus, javelin, high jump, long jump, triple jump, pole vault

Age groups
Masters age groups (on the day of the meet): 35-40, 40-45, 45-50, 50-55 and so on, in five-year increments.

Awards
Places 1 through 3 in each event receive medals.

Entry fees
The entry fee for the meet is $35 with no limit on the number of events entered.
