Colorado Association Masters and Open Indoor Track and Field Championship
The Colorado Association Masters and Open Indoor Championship is held annually at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs in February or March. This meet is sponsored by Colorado Masters Track and Field Club and sanctioned by USATF. This meet has also been awarded Mid-America Regional Championship status during many of its years.
During the 1-day meet, the following events are contended:
|Track Events||60m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 3000m,
3000m race walk, 60m hurdles, 4 x 1 lap relay
|Field Events||shot put, weight throw, super weight throw,
high jump, long jump, triple jump, pole vault
Masters age groups (on the day of the meet): 35-40, 40-45, 45-50, 50-55 and so on, in five-year increments.
Open and sub-masters: 14-29, 30-34.
Places 1 through 3 in each event receive medals.

The 2017 Colorado Association and Mid-America Region Masters Indoor Championships was held at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs on Sunday, February 5th.

You might be wondering what constitutes the ‘Mid-America Region’. This region consists of the following states:
Colorado (of course), Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Nebraska and South Dakota.
Of course, athletes from anywhere in the country, or the World are welcome to compete.
